Fruit for breakfast
The book Love Food...Lose Weight : Three... recommends eating at least 3 varieties of fruit for breakfast each morning.
Reason: fruit is the easiest food for your body to digest. It is best for your body before mid day.

Added advantages:
Fruit has lots of water and fibre and relatively few calories. Daily breakfasts of fruit can help a person lose weight.
Fruit is rich in vitamins.
I normally have a heavy breakfast of cereals,bread,pastries or noodles. The thought of a fruit breakfast was daunting.

Anyway, I went ahead. Bought exotic fruit for my first attempt. Bright pink Dragon fruit, gooseberries and a chinese pear.
I washed the fruit first.
Then I cut the dragon fruit lengthwise and arranged it on a large plate with its bright pink skin still on.
Peeled and sliced the chinese pear and arranged it in a semi-circle beside the dragon fruit..
I put a few goose berries in the centre of the plate.
It was a delicious breakfast. The sour gooseberries complemented the sweet pear and dragon fruit really well. Very refreshing and surprisingly very filling. I almost could not finish it.
I got hungry soon after that and compensated by having an early lunch.
Conclusion: A fruit breakfast is workable, and can be really pleasant if you have the time.
