Quick Fix Preservative Free Home Made Moisturizers

Moisturizers are basically a combination of water and oil. The water to hydrate the skin and the oil to keep the water from evaporating.

Creams and lotions contain emulsifiers to keep the water and oil from separating, as oil does not dissolve in water, nor water in oil.

Commercial preparations contain preservatives to prevent bacteria from multiplying in a rich oil and water mixture and additional ingredients to stabilize the preparation as well as to give it a good feel and fragrance.

If you are allergic to preservatives, fragrances and other additives, you can make your own moisturizers in the bathroom just before using them. All you need to do is to keep a small bottle of distilled water and a small bottle of cold pressed sweet almond oil in the bathroom.

Your skin really doesn't need much moisturizing. If you really must, just pour some distilled water into the palm of your hand. Add 1 drop of sweet almond oil and rub both hands together to mix them well. Apply on your face and neck as a moisturizer.

To protect your skin, just pour some distilled water into the palm of your hand. Add 4 or 5 drops of sweet almond oil and rub both hands together to mix them well. Apply to face and neck.

Home Made Moisturizer for dry skin

For dry skin, pour equal amounts of sweet almond oil and water into the palm of your hand. Rub both hands together to mix them well. Apply to face and neck.

Home Made Moisturizer for very dry skin

For dry skin, pour sweet almond oil into the palm of your hand. Add 4 or 5 drops of distilled water. Rub both hands together to mix them well. Apply to face and neck.
