At the start of the movie, Trinity is seen falling from the window, engaged in a shoot out with an agent. The bullet hits her. Neo wakes up.

Neo is unable to sleep well at night because of the dreams.

The ship arrives at Zion. A breathtaking place right out of a Science Fiction fantasy dream.

Link goes home to his wife. Neo and Trinity can't get enough of each other.

Then there is the celebration in Zion. Morpheus inspires the crowd with his speech. Yes, the machines are coming to try to kill them. They have tried to kill off Zion for 100 years but they have survived thus far.

Neo, Trinity and Morpheus enter the Matrix to rescue the keymaker. They need him to get to the source. The prophesy is that the war will end when the one gets to the source.

To get the keymaker, Neo must kiss Persephone. A very seductive woman. That he did. Then Persephone's husband set his henchmen loose on the trio in order to retrieve the keymaker. The twins went after Morpheus and Trinity while Neo handled the rest.

Throughout the story, there are very impressive fight scenes. The scene where the Twins and agents pursue Trinity, Morpheus and the keymaker are astounding. Where was Neo? Stuck in the mountains where the Matrix put him.

As the story progresses, more secrets of the Matrix are revealed.

They key scene is where Neo finally meets the architect. He has to make a choice, to enter the door to the source and "save" zion, or re-enter the matrix to save Trinity.

Neo's conversation with the architect is key to understanding the Matrix. You see, Zion had been destroyed 5 times. This would be the 6th destruction of Zion. The prophesy of the one, is but a control by the Matrix.

Agent Smith too has upgraded in this movie. He is now able to duplicate himself, like a virus. Neo had to fight 100 agent smiths. That was one of the most amazing scenes in the movie.

Agent Smith was even able to enter and control a human being. The movie ends with both Neo and The human agent smith in a coma.
