Tips on rejecting a guy

There's a fine line between a regular guy and a stalker. A stalker never believes that she is not interested in him. While both are persistent, the regular guy would know when to quit.

If you have told him you are not interested and he insists, and keeps teasing you for playing hard to get or something like that, then you have to be firm.

You might tell him, you are not ready for a relationship now, he might hear that for now, you are not ready. Maybe later, you would be. So he persists.

In this case, you have to let him know that there is no hope. Absolutely not a chance of a relationship between the two of you. Don't cave in. Do not go out with him as he could interpret that to be a date. Do not return his calls.

If he is mature enough and has accepted that you can only be friends, maybe, you could still be friends. With a regular guy, you may still be friends. Just make it very clear to him that he really is not your type. Better yet, that you are in love with some one else.

If he is unstable emotionally or the dependant sort, the stalker sort, you really have to avoid him, so that you would not mislead him.

You have to be cruel to be kind.
