Breakdown that Cellulite

Cellulite really exists. Cellulite is not normal fat. Even skinny girls can get cellulite. However, cellulite is more common in obese women. It is a woman's problem though. The structure of the skin in women differs slightly from men. That difference leads to cellulite as a problem peculiar to women.

The Italian anatomo-pathologist and molecular biologist, Professor Sergio Curri studied cellulite in comparison to normal fat, and concluded that cellulite is different.

What is so special about cellulite?

Tissues in the affected areas retain fluid from outside the capillaries.

The connective fibres around your fat cells harder and trap the fluid and wastes.

This hardening of the collagen lead to nodules forming

How to breakdown cellulite?

Start with a detoxification plan.

Here's the detoxification plan found in the book: Cellulite Revolution.

  1. Try an apple fast for 2 to 3 days. Eat nothing but apples.  Apples contain pectin. Pectin helps lower cholesterol. Pectin also binds heavy metals (toxins) and eliminates them from the body.

  2. Drink lots of mineral water or herb tea, sweetened with honey to taste.

  3. Drink good quality aloe vera juice. 2 tablespoons twice daily for beginners.

  4. Get plenty of rest

  5. Skin brushing before your shower.

  6. Soak in a bath with epson salts added to it.

  7. Siluet 40 Apply an effective anti-cellulite cream or gel like   for inch loss.

 

My 2 day attempt at detoxification

I can't fast. Had a gastric problem years ago. I'm ok now, but I'm careful not to skip meals. Besides, I live to eat.

Here's my compromise

Each morning, I drink 8 ounces of aloe juice and have a light breakfast.

Lunch is 1 large apple. A light lunch (like sushi) 1 more large apple (I have a huge appetite). 8 ounces of aloe vera juice.

After work, I eat 1 large apple, then go home for dinner.

I have no way to rest except at night, when the kids are asleep, so plenty of rest is out.

Skin brushing for 5 minutes before each shower was refreshing. Using a dry brush with natural bristles, brush in long strokes towards the heart. Upwards from legs etc. Cover all skin. (But skip face)

The results

The aloe vera juice and apples left me really refreshed. Instead of feeling down and irritable all the time, I felt bright and cheery. The aloe vera was a great tonic. Helped me through a working day, even though I hardly had a chance to sleep at night.

Skin brushing was a great exercise in exfoliating my skin. Great for circulation too. Left skin smoother than ever.

I think I lost a little weight as I ate half what I normally do. All those large apples really did fill me up.

Overall, I felt great.
