Sock puppets

Take a clean sock.

Put your hand through it. Use a marker to mark where the eyes will be.

Take your hand out

Sew on black buttons for the eyes.

Bundle some colored wool and sew this on as the hair.

Make as many such puppets varying the eye color and hair color.

Let your child dream up a story and to perform it for you with these puppets.

Gather around your child to watch and participate in his or her puppet show.
