Chamomile scented gifts

Soothing teddy bear (or soft toy)

For the busy mum, purchase a cute soft teddy bear or soft toy, preferably cloth based, not the furry sort as that is not too good for kids to sleep with. Furry type could cause allergies.

Put 2 drops of chamomile essential oil and 4 drops of lavender oil on its bottom. Lovely soothing scent to soothe an irritable kid. For a nervous stomach, sit little teddy on the kid's tummy.

Scented sachets

Take a pretty piece of silk, satin or cotton.

Fold it in two.

Sew up the sides, leaving 1 side open.

Turn it inside out to hide the seams.

Fill it with cotton wool.

Put 1 drop of chamomile essential oil and 1 drop of lavender oil in the cotton wool.

Sew the open side shut.

Tie a ribbon around the sachet and make a loop with it.

You can hang the sachet on a clothes hanger in you closet to scent your clothes. You can also place it in your clothes drawer to impart its fragrance to your clothes and keep the insects away. When the smell fades, Put 1 drop of chamomile essential oil and 1 drop of lavender oil on the sachet to refresh it.

You could sew a few of these as gift to friends and loved ones.
