The Atkins DietThe Atkins Diet is one of the most famous diets around. It is the diet that allows you to eat your steak, burgers (without the buns) and all the meat you want and still lose weight. The secret in this diet is that it eliminates carbohydrates.
I've seen people who lost plenty of weight on that diet, eating the food they love and looking great for it. One thing though, all that protein would tax your kidneys. The cholesterol that comes with the meat is worrisome too, but, that diet works. Still, if you plan on going on Atkins diet long term, see a doctor every 6 months to check the health of your heart and your kidneys.
