Milk for your face.
For external use, stick to the unflavoured, unsweetened variety with minimal
additives.
Make up remover
You could use milk to remove makeup.
Pour 1 tablespoon of full cream milk or whole milk into a small bowl. Add a
few drops of sweet almond oil. Use a sterile piece of cotton wool and pat the
milk mixture onto your face. Use another sterile piece of cotton wool to remove
the milk. Rinse off thoroughly.
Remember. Milk is a rich source of nutrients. At the same time, it is a
breeding ground for bacteria when left at room temperature. That is why all
traces of milk should be removed from your skin after use. If not, it could lead
to pimples if your skin is prone to acne.
Cleanser
Use fluid milk for this. Or dissolve milk powder in drinking water to for
fluid milk before use.

Mix 1 teaspoon skim milk powder with 1 teaspoon honey. Add a few drops for
freshly squeezed lemon juice if your skin is very oily. Use that as a mild scrub
on your face. The undissolved milk powder forms a gentle scrub. Rinse off
thoroughly with lots of water.
Normal, dry or mature skin
Mix 1 teaspoon full cream or whole milk powder with 1 teaspoon honey. Use
that as a mild scrub on your face. The undissolved milk powder forms a gentle

Hungarian 4 layer milk mask
I got this great mask for normal, dry and mature skins from the book Mother Nature's Guide to Vibrant Beauty...
Mix 1 tablespoon of fluid milk with 1 quarter teaspoon of cold pressed almond
oil. Apply 1 layer of the mixture on cleansed face. Allow 2 to 3 minutes for the
layer of milk to dry. Apply another layer on top of it and let that dry. Apply a
3rd and then a 4th layer, allow time in between for each layer to dry. Lie down
and relax and allow the mask to harden.
When the mask is hard and dry,
wash it off with with lots of lukewarm water and a wash cloth.
