kiehls creamI love natural ingredients in my skincare. Whenever I buy a new moisturizer or cleanser or anything that goes onto my hair or skin, I read the label. I want whatever I use to be rich in the active ingredients, preferably from plants, and to have minimal stuff that might irritate my extremely fussy skin.
Basically, I want to pay for the ingredients that go into the product and not for the packaging. Somehow, Kiehls appeals to me. I happen to be one of those weirdos who enjoy browsing through the beauty department, reading the labels of every product I cannot afford, hoping that one day, I can scrape together enough cash to get it. Other women drool over bags. I drool over skincare.
Why buy from kiehls?
I picked up a catalog from Kiehls after browsing through the ingredients on each of the labels. I liked what I saw, except for the price. Right now, I am living from hand to mouth - horribly broke. Maybe one day..
Anyway, Kiehl"s is my dream beauty store. Here"s why.

- The pride themselves for using the finest ingredients they know of in all their product lines. You pay for the quality of the ingredients, not the packaging which incidentally, is simple and efficient. That is the kind of skincare I want
- They use only ingredients that actually benefit the skin and the bare minimal preservatives to give their products shelf life. A boon for sensitive, fussy skin like mine. I am sick and tired of allergies due to too much scent, preservatives and other unnecessary stuff in my skincare products.
- Kiehls is committed to improving the quality of the community. This is an organization with a conscience. They produced products whereby 100% of the profits go into a charity that fights AIDS
- No Animal Testing. I am not too picky about that but for the animal lovers, you can rest assured that no animal had to suffer in the lab to get you whatever you might buy from Kiehls.
