Lip balm for cool skin tones
This cool pink lip balm is excellent for cool skin tones. It is soothes
chapped dry lips.
What you need
Ingredients
60ml Carrier Oil like sweet
almond oil
Half teaspoon boiled beetroot juice
1 teaspoon beeswax pellets or grated beeswax 
100% Beeswax Yellow Honeywax Pearls
Peppermint essential oil
Equipment
1 heat resistant bowls with lid
1 large pot or pan
1 hand whisk or wooden spoon
1 teaspoon or dropper
measuring cups and spoons
heat resistant jar to contain the cream
ice cube trays
Before you start
Sterilize the ice cube trays, jar and lid, measuring cups and spoons,
bowls, lids, dropper, whisk and spoons with boiling water and air dry them
completely.
 | Blend a beetroot. |
| Strain and keep the juice. |
| Boil the beetroot juice until it thickens. |
| Remove from heat. |
What to do

Put the carrier oil and beeswax in the bowl and cover it.

Put the bowl into a pot of water.

Put the pot over heat and let the water in the pot boil until the beeswax
has melted.

Remove from heat.

Take the bowl out of the pot.

Add a single drop of peppermint essential oil to the oil and beeswax mix

Using a teaspoon or dropper add the beetroot juice to the oil/beeswax
mixture, drop by drop, mixing with a whisk or wooden spoon all the
time.

Once all the beetroot juice has been added to the mixture, stop mixing.

Leave to settle for 5 minutes.

Transfer the balm into the a sterilized ointment jar. Use the lip balm as
needed. But use it all up within a month as this has no preservatives.
Other lip balms
That only produces a particular family of color. A deeper or lighter beet
color depending on how concentrated the beet juice is.
You can buy some really good lip balms in beautiful colors, flavors and wonderful
textures, and which are great for your lips.
