Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser -Tried and Tested
Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser is meant for combination skin. The
sales girl told me it was the best cleanser from Estee Lauder for my skin type.
My skin is acne prone and sensitive. I'm in my thirties, so I guess my skin
can be considered mature skin.
Ingredients
Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser contains the following
ingredients:
Some of the ingredients are moisturizers. Sodium hyaluronate is one of the
best moisturizers around. Maybe that is why it was recommended for my mature
skin.
The test
I apply Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser twice to three times daily
on damp skin.
Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser lathers well and rinses off easily.
However, Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser leaves a thin film of
moisture that would not come off with water. I think that is meant to protect
the skin or something.
Estee Lauder Splash Away Foaming Cleanser feels comfortable to use. No
irritation during application, but within a week or two of use, I noticed little
pimples appearing on my forehead again. I need to use a
mud mask twice a week to keep my skin clear, when using this cleanser.
Verdict
Maybe it is me, after all, I get much worse reactions from most cleansers.
Even Lancome gives me a horrible breakout with large pimples. This result is
mild in comparison to my experiences with many other cleansers. My skin is
really very sensitive and acne prone. Even this gives me a breakout if I'm not careful.
I find it too mild for my acne prone skin. Maybe it is more suitable with
people with combination skin without an acne problem.
I prefer Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser
or even 
Eucerin Clear Skin Formula Pore Purifying Foaming Wash for my skin. But that is just my personal opinion.
