Chanel Double Perfection Fluide Tried and tested on oily sensitive skin
My skin is oily and horribly sensitive to foundation. Almost all the
foundations I have tried led to a breakout. Foundation usually gives me pimples.
So I have always had to go around bare faced, with a touch of translucent
powder.
Chanel Double Perfection Fluide is an exception. I tried Chanel Double
Perfection Fluide in 40 Beige. It is a light warm beige for warm skin tones with
a very light tan.
Feel
It feels very light. It goes on easily. It spreads easily and evenly.
Coverage is good.
On sensitive skin
I tried it both when my skin was normal and during the week when my
skin had a horrible reaction to some new skin care products I was testing. My
skin was sore, peeling,red and very sensitive then. I used Chanel Double
Perfection Fluide to cover up. It covered the redness, and I looked normal with
the foundation on. It actually felt quite soothing to apply it on my painful
skin.
On oily pimple prone skin
At all times, Chanel Double Perfection Fluide was tolerated very well by my
skin. It never caused a pimple breakout, even though there was even an SPF 15 in
it. Normally all products with sunscreen cause my face to break out in
pimples.
Verdict
Chanel Double Perfection Fluide is excellent and probably the only foundation
I dare use on my oily sensitive skin.
