At Home
For products with AHAs, quality is everything. I would not
recommend treating yourself with home facials with lemons, grapes and all
acidic fruit at one go as you may end up with severe skin irritation
instead. No doubt it is possible to formulate your own home facial with
citric acid, malic acid and lactic acid, but it is kind of risky to make
it yourself and put it on your face as acids are potent stuff. The end
result could be painful and look very unpleasant.
I would instead recommend that you use quality products that have been
tested and formulated by well known brands who build their reputations on
the safety and efficiency of their products.

formulations. These have been used by women
all over the world. They are backed by millions of dollars in research and
the companies that make them are highly reputable.

BHAs or Beta-hydroxy acids
Nowadays, AHAs are old news. Beta-hydroxy
acids are the gentler, better versions. Used
on their own or in combinations with AHAs, BHAs
