What To Do With Leftover FoodWaste not want not. That saying has been mentioned so often it has become a cliche. Yet the truth in it is undeniable. We often unwittingly waste food when we throw away scraps of food we do not know what to do with, or when we throw away the leftovers from a meal.
If eating the same dishes again from the previous meal sounds boring, be creative. You can make a brand new dish with the left overs. Two of my favorites are fried rice and pizza bread
For fried rice, rice left over from the previous meal would be perfect if you remember to refrigerate the rice one it has cooled. Left over meat can be used in place of the meat in the recipe.
With pizza bread, whatever food scraps you can find would be wonderful. Sausages, ham, cheese, left over chicken, leftover turkey or other meats, some peas, tomatos and whatever else you might fancy would make interesting pizzas.
