Stress relief home spaTake a day off. Just dedicate that day to pampering yourself. Try this do it yourself, stress relief 1 day spa. Before you start, get ready all the ingredients you need for your spa. If possible, prepare your meals the night before, so you can simply pop the food into the microwave to heat it up. Get a stack of magazines you would love to read. Also get ready scented candles, lavender oil, rose petals and dried elderflowers. The schedule is a rough guide. Follow it according to your own timing. Don't hurry. Feel free to add more beauty treats from Beauty if you like, or to skip some steps which you might find troublesome. Your day9:00am Wake up, brush teeth, wash face. Stay in your PJs for comfort, or switch to fresh clean PJs. 9:30am Take a morning stroll in a park, or do some stretching exercises indoors to your favourite music. 10:00am Breakfast. Suggestions: Cereal with milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence. Or Ham and eggs and toast and tomatos. Take something filling. 11:00 am Ambience For a full spa ambience,
Body treat. Take a cheap stocking. Cut one leg of it and fill it with 1 cup of milk powder and half cup of dried elderflowers. Tie the open end to seal the bath bag. Run your bath. Drop the bath bag into it. Soak in the elderflower milk bath for as long as you like. Scrub yourself with the bath bag. Burn a scented candle for ambience. Play soothing music. 12pm Lunch time. Have a light lunch. Try fried rice OR chicken rice OR a sandwich with salad. Dessert could be 1 avocado blended with honey to taste. 1pm Relax with magazines. Burn a scented candle for ambience. 2pm Self massage. Feel your back and shoulders, massaging in small circles on both sides of the spine. Feel your shoulders for tender spots. Massage firmly on the tender spots where tension gathers. Massage the soles of your feet with your thumbs, in circular movements. Massage each hand. Treat yourself to a grilled steak OR fish OR chicken with lots of vegetables. Dessert A plate of berries. 7:30pm Prepare a foot bath. Fill a large basin with warm water (big enough for you to put both feet comfortably in). Put in 1 cup of full cream milk powder, 1 handful of elderflowers and 1 handful of rosepetals. Try a Home facial using elderflower While the mask is on your face, soak your feet in a foot bath. Take a shower. Pat dry and apply your favourite body lotion.
