Evening Primrose Oil
The evening primrose has many names. It is known as
evening star and night willow herb. Its yellow flowers
open in the evening and die off at dawn. The fruit from
the flower produces hundreds of small black seeds.
Evening primrose oil is the oil extracted from these
seeds.
This humble oil is rich in the omega-6 fatty acids -
linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid. These help
