Aromatherapy for women beginners Essential oils and plant oils in facial products |
Treat your kid for eczemaEczema tends to get worse under stress. Eczema could be due to allergies. Sometimes, eczema can be seen as the body trying to through off toxins accumulated in the body. I'm not a doctor. Just a mother with 2 kids who have eczema. Eczema is hereditary. The kids can inherit eczema from their parents. When my kids come down with eczema, I run a bath for them. Add 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder, 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 drop of mandarin essential oil (the essential oil is not necessary, but my kids love it) to 1 baby bath tub full of warm water. Then I let my kid soak in the milk and honey bath for as long as they like. I do that twice a day and within days, the eczema clears. What works for some people may not work for others. Another relative who has eczema finds pure organic lavender oil applied over the affected area after a bath soothes the itch. Unfortunately, after a week or 2, it loses its effect. As stress worsens the effect of eczema, try adding 3 drops rose oil to your bath (very relaxing. great for stress). You could try 5 drops chamomile oil in your bath. (Chamomile is an anti-inflammatory oil) Or you could try a combination of 1drop geranium oil and 2 drops of lavender to your bath (very relaxing. Great for stress). Some people with eczema hate the feel of carrier oils on their skin, so forget about massage with anything oily if you are one of them. A better bet would be to get cleansers and moisturisers for eczema from SkinStore, Inc |
