The romantic holiday

Out with your sweetheart? Going on your honeymoon? Make sure you smell sweet and desirable all the time. Do your homework. Mix 1 drop rose Otto essential oil and 1 drop jasmine oil in 100 ml jojoba oil for a beautiful personal perfume.

Cleopatra is said to have seduced Mark Anthony with jasmine oil. Rose oil is considered a romantic oil too. Add to the romance by using these oils as your personal perfume. Add 3 to 5 drops of grapefruit oil to lighten the scent if you find the scent too heavy. Ylang ylang is a heavy heady oriental scent that is very seductive. A single drop can be used as a potent perfume. More than that can give you a headache though.

In the bathroom

Bring along some unscented shower gel and unscented body lotion along too. (Commercial ones, not home made ones as preservative free lotions don't keep outside the freezer).

Before your shower, add a little of your perfumed oil to 1 teaspoon of the shower gel. Bathe with it. Add a little of perfumed oil to your body lotion and moisturize your skin with it.

For a loving massage with your partner, use your perfume oil as a massage oil, if he agrees to it.

For a bath, add some of your perfumed oil to your bath.

For everything else

For headaches, massage lavender oil on your forehead, temples and the base of the back of your head.

For sunburns, lavender oil or Aloe Vera gel applied on the affected area helps a lot. It would be a lot wiser to use a sun block to prevent sunburns in the first place.

For insect bites, lavender oil applied undiluted on the bites soothe the itch.

For insomnia... lavender oil and rose oil are very relaxing anyway.

Enjoy yourselves.
